If you do not reside in a state that we serve, you will need to travel to our office to be seen for each medical appointment.

Functional Medicine Providers

Rebecca Bielawski

Rebecca is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has been working in Pediatrics for over 20 years. She has deep experience in helping families manage children’s complex chronic health conditions and enjoys blending the best of conventional and Functional Medicine to achieve long lasting vibrant health. At Arbor Health, Rebecca treats many conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, gut and digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS), Lyme Disease, and Autism. When faced with her own health challenges, Rebecca found Functional Medicine and was able to heal herself. Prior to Functional Medicine, she provided comprehensive pediatric primary care as well as spending several years working with families of children with chronic endocrine dysfunction through positions at Legacy Pediatrics and the University of Rochester. She earned a BS in Biology at the State University of New York, Brockport, NY, and a BS and MS of Nursing at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. Rebecca has pursued advanced training in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine and professional continuing medical education conferences such as Integrative Medicine in Mental Health.

Dr. Zendi Moldenhauer

Dr. Zendi, PhD, NPP, PNP, RN-BC, IFMCP has been working in pediatrics, mental health, and functional medicine for over 20 years. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, integrating her conventional medical background in pediatrics and psychiatry with more natural, holistic, and functional healing modalities to help people attain the highest level of health and wellness. She is particularly interested in nutrition and the gut-brain relationship in conditions like anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), stress-related conditions, and gut disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrom (IBS.) Dr. Zendi has a PhD in Nursing from the University of Rochester, NY, with a specialty focus in Adolescent Mental Health. Dr Zendi is board certified as both a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has completed advanced training in the following areas: Holistic Nutrition and Health Coaching through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Integrative Psychiatry through multiple Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Conferences, and Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Jaclyn West 

Jackie is a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner who has been using Functional Medicine in a variety of capacities for over 15 years. She loves working with both children and adults and has deep experience in helping families manage complex chronic health conditions by blending the best of conventional and Functional Medicine to achieve optimal health. At Arbor Health, Jackie treats many conditions including anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), gut and digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, cardiometabolic disorders, Lyme Disease, mold illness, and Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome/Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANS/PANDAS.) Prior to obtaining her FNP master's degree, Jackie worked with us at Arbor Health as a senior Clinical Health Coach for several years and helped to guide and support some of our sickest patients through their recoveries. Prior to Arbor Health, Jackie honed her functional medicine skills while practicing as a chiropractor who specialized in the care of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD.)  She believes that the body is a whole, interconnected system and that physical medicine (chiropractic) and functional medicine go hand in hand. Jackie earned her RN and FNP degrees through University of Rochester, graduated from New York Chiropractic College, and achieved her specialized certifications through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the Institute for Functional Medicine. Jackie has 2 young daughters that she keeps healthy with chiropractic adjustments and supplements.

Pamela Harwood 

Pam, LMFT, ART, is a Child & Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience, she specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties with children, drug and alcohol issues, parenting issues, and optimizing symptom management for individuals and families dealing with major mental illness. Pam assists children and adults in healing, enhancing growth, family cohesiveness, and the ability to weather life's stressors. Pam can also provide Art Therapy which is particularly helpful when verbal communication is difficult. Her work has been described as engaging, playful, interactive, humorous, and gentle. She received her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 1992.

Katie Aeckerle 

Katie is a Registered Nurse and an Integrative Nutrition Counselor. As a Clinical Health Coach, she specializes in working with patients of all ages who struggle with complex health challenges such as gut dysbiosis, thyroid and hormone imbalance, adrenal fatigue, Lyme’s Disease, mold toxicity, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, and Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome/Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANS/PANDAS.) After working in the traditional health system for many years, she developed a deep interest in bio-individualized health care where you look at the whole person and design a plan specific to their mind, body, and spirit. Once she learned about Functional Medicine she couldn’t look back and dove straight into learning everything she could about bio-medical treatments and Clinical Coaching through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Katie loves to empower patients with education and tools, so they can finally take control of their health once and for all. Katie has over 10 years of experience working with patients of all ages as a nurse in OB/GYN, Labor and Delivery, and Surgery.

Laurie Brace 

Laurie is a Clinical Health Coach who is passionate about helping patients and families tune into their own bodies’ wisdom to determine what is right for them to reach maximum health. Prior to becoming a Clinical Health Coach, Laurie spent 17 years in education as a certified Chemistry teacher and later as an Educational Assistant. She is a graduate of the Health Coach Institute and is a certified Health and Life Coach. Laurie was first introduced to a holistic treatment model when members of her own family were struggling with troubling health symptoms. Once she began to see the powerful impact Functional Medicine can have on a person’s health, Laurie was hooked. In her spare time, Laurie loves to spend time in nature with her family, read, cook, and listen to health and wellness podcasts.

Karin Franz 

Karin is a Functional Nutritionist, National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and an ICF Professional Certified Coach. She is incredibly passionate about holistic health and optimizing life so that people can experience life in the most joyful and confident way possible. When it comes to healing, Karin takes a powerful two-pronged approach. She uses functional medicine as a foundation to address the root cause of dysfunction in the body and couples that with proven coaching techniques to support her clients in transforming from default habits to unlocking their highest potential and creating a new normal for themselves.

Lisa Kowalski 

Lisa is a Registered Nurse and a Functional Nutrition Counselor and is passionate about helping patients of all ages overcome their day-to-day obstacles and take charge of their health. As a Clinical Health Coach, she specializes in issues related to stress, gut dysbiosis, hormone imbalance, thyroid disorders, and complex childhood mental health conditions including Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS), Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS), Lyme Disease, and the biomedical treatment of Autism. Prior to Arbor Health, Lisa had over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in a wide variety of settings including internal medicine, cardiology, hematology, oncology, geriatrics, gynecology, and obstetrics, and as a school nurse. After struggling for years with her own children’s health concerns, she finally found a resolution using Functional Medicine and wants to help others find the same success. Lisa is a certified Nutrition Counselor through the Functional Nutrition Lab.

Kelly Loughlin 

Kelly is a Clinical Health Coach dedicated to supporting patients on the path to wellness through coaching and creating patient education resources. Her practical approach helps individuals and families adopt meaningful and realistic healthy practices. A mom of three, Kelly understands both the challenge and importance of instilling healthy habits in young people. Kelly is certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and has been a health coach for over ten years. She was drawn to join Arbor Health after witnessing how Functional Medicine helped members of her own family. In addition to working directly with patients, Kelly is a Marketing Communications Specialist who creates helpful patient education resources, classes, and content to enhance each patients experience

Dr. Corey Ameele 

Corey is our Practice Manager overseeing day-to-day clinical operations and client services. With a strong background in customer service, he uses his clinical and organizational superpowers to make sure that all our patients are moving through their programs efficiently and getting their needs met. Corey also serves as a BrainCore Certified Neurofeedback Specialist. Corey is fascinated by the connections between body and brain health. Using his clinical knowledge of neurology and physiology, he loves to help patients achieve their health goals through Neurofeedback and Functional Medicine. Before becoming our Practice Manager, Corey served as Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Health Coach. Corey earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York College of Chiropractic and a BS in Exercise Science and Sport Psychology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.

Alisa Bottone

Alisa is our Medical Receptionist here at Arbor Health. She is committed to ensuring that every patient’s experience is a positive one. Alisa spent many years in the classroom teaching middle school and elementary levels.  She holds degrees from Geneseo as well as a Masters from the University of Rochester. It was during this time teaching and trying to grow a family that her own wellness journey began.  Injuries from a car accident with a toddler and triplet babies at home prompted her to research and explore holistic therapy alternatives. As a former teacher and mom of four she understands that a visit to the doctor can be stressful and works diligently to provide reassurance to both our pediatric patients and parents alike. Outside of work, Alisa enjoys attempting to improve her golf game, playing paddle tennis, reading, and working with a local area dog rescue group.

Meg Burton Tudman 

As Director of Public Relations and Community Outreach, Meg is committed to developing innovative programs that amplify brand presence and enrich community involvement. She is passionate about fostering connections and igniting genuine enthusiasm. In addition to an MBA and 20 years of expertise in communications and sales, Meg understands firsthand the benefits of a holistic approach to health, and she loves sharing that value with others. Her alignment with Arbor Health’s mission and culture is palpable, reflecting her diverse experience as a certified integrative nutrition health coach, seasoned reiki practitioner and instructor, registered yoga instructor, and accomplished women’s health and mindset coach.

Susan is our Clinical Intake Coordinator and is the first point of contact for new patients at Arbor Health. She ensures that new patients understand our approach and feel welcome on their healing journey with us. Sue has twenty-five years of customer service experience in the medical and health related fields and has a kind and caring communication style. With a bachelor's degree from Cornell, she is excited to be a part of a healthcare team who shares the common goal of helping people find true healing through Functional Medicine.

Elena is our Medical Secretary, who helps keep the trains running on time by calling to remind you of appointments and when labs are due. She makes sure supplements are in stock and is instrumental in keeping back-office operations running smoothly.

Hannah McIntee 

Hannah is our Neurofeedback Technician. She is passionate in helping individuals optimize their brain function, reduce stress, anxiety, and improve overall mental health. Hannah is fascinated with the brain’s potential to enhance its mental well-being and cognitive performance with the aid from Neurofeedback therapy. She is committed to creating a supportive and comfortable environment where clients can achieve their goals. Hannah also appreciates functional medicine as she has seen it positively impact her own mental health. Hannah graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges as a PreMed major, minoring in Psychology. She then continued her education and became a certified Integrative Health Coach through Integrative Health Practitioners and a Hormone Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Amber Ratcliffe 

As co-founder and CEO of Arbor Health, Amber is an award-winning entrepreneur, mother, and passionate advocate for empowering families to regain control of their well-being holistically. After starting out as a molecular biologist on the Human Genome Project, she earned an MBA, and was instrumental in founding and growing several successful companies focused on biotech and healthcare innovation. When members of her family were confronted with chronic physical and mental health issues, she decided to look beyond just medicating symptoms and to ways to address the root causes. She has become extremely knowledgeable in limiting exposure to environmental toxins through countless hours consuming peer reviewed articles, books, podcasts, and congressional testimony from leading scientists. Her research led to her discovery of Functional Medicine and Functional Psychiatry, transforming her approach to her family’s health and well-being. Arbor Health was founded to provide the same hope and holistic healing to other families. Amber is also a BrainCore Certified Neurofeedback Specialist and works with patients on building resilience and optimal brain health.
