How We Help

Our primary focus is solving your root problem, not just turning off the alarm of your symptoms.

How We Work

We look at every system, not just the obvious one

Complex chronic illness is layered by definition, so a narrow investigation produces a narrow answer. We evaluate infections and co-infections, immune function, inflammation, gut health, detoxification capacity, metabolic and mitochondrial function, nervous system regulation, and environmental exposure including mold and mycotoxins.

We're looking for what earlier workups weren't designed to find. After roughly 1,000 patients with these conditions, we know which combinations tend to travel together and which ones get missed.

We treat in phases, in a deliberate order

Addressing everything at once overwhelms a body that's already struggling. Recovery works in sequence instead, with each phase making the next one possible.

Early on we stabilize: reduce the inflammatory load, remove active triggers, begin gut support, and get the full clinical picture. From there we address root-cause infections and begin rebalancing immune function. Deeper restoration comes next, including mitochondrial and neurological healing. The final phase is resilience, so that a stressful week or a virus doesn't undo the progress.

Each step is paced to what your body can actually tolerate, which is not the same for any two people.

We plan for 12 months or more, and we tell you that up front

Most of our patients are in active care for 12 to 18 months. Complex co-infection patterns sometimes need longer.

That timeline isn't a business decision, it's biology. Inflammation takes time to resolve. Immune systems take time to rebalance. Tissue repairs slowly. Detox pathways open gradually. Stopping when symptoms first improve is one of the most common reasons people relapse, because feeling better and being finished are not the same thing.

We'd rather you know the real timeline before you start than discover it at month four.

You'll have the same team the entire way, and you'll hear back quickly

You'll work with the same provider across your full course of care. This matters more than it sounds like it should. A provider who remembers what your body did in month three catches things in month nine that a new set of eyes would miss. That accumulated pattern recognition is a large part of what makes long-term care work.

A clinical health coach works alongside your provider between visits: keeping momentum on implementation, helping you adjust when something isn't landing, and answering the questions that come up on a Wednesday afternoon.

We respond to questions within 24 to 48 hours, and same-day to urgent ones. When a flare hits, we adjust the protocol then, not at your next scheduled appointment.

Your plan changes as you do

There is no standard protocol here, because rigid protocols fail the people who need this care most. One patient tolerates aggressive detoxification; another needs a gentler pace for months. One child clears a co-infection in weeks; another needs half a year. Genetics, food sensitivities, supplement tolerance, and stress all shift what's appropriate.

If something isn't working, that's information we use, not a verdict on you.

You'll understand what's happening and why

Families who understand the mechanism stay engaged, tolerate the hard stretches, and make better decisions in the moment. So we explain: why a symptom is occurring, why we're doing this phase now, why the pacing is what it is, and what a setback does and doesn't mean.

You'll have condition-specific guides, symptom tracking, and access to educational sessions on the topics that come up most. Every appointment includes time for questions.

We treat the situation around you, too

A child's illness lands on the whole family. An adult's illness lands on a marriage, a job, a social life. Parents' stress affects a child's nervous system directly, which makes family support clinical rather than optional.

We write school letters and support accommodation requests. We help partners and extended family understand what's happening. We prepare workplace documentation when energy limits affect work. We take seriously the guilt and exhaustion that come with years of managing this alone, because dismissal and self-blame are part of what most families are carrying by the time they find us.

What Recovery Actually Looks Like

It isn't a straight line. Progress comes in steps, with plateaus and flares along the way.

Flares are expected. They're a normal feature of this kind of healing, not evidence that treatment is failing or that you did something wrong. Knowing that in advance is part of what gets people through them, which is why we say it now rather than the first time it happens.

What we're working toward is not just fewer symptoms. It's a body with enough reserve that ordinary life stops being a risk: school attended, work performed, plans made without a contingency for collapse.

Is This The Right Fit?

This approach asks for patience and real participation over a long stretch of time, and it isn't right for everyone. If you're looking for a short course of treatment or a single answer, we're probably not the practice for you, and we'd rather say so now.

If you've been told the tests look normal while watching your child or yourself get worse, this is the work we do.
